Collection of Precious and Semi- Precious Stones

This module concerns the use of precious, semi-precious and other decorative stones for the manufacture of jewellery and decorative objects (e.g. micro-sculpture). 

The samples are displayed in a showcase, with particular emphasis on those found in Greece. The section is enriched with illustrative material that aims to provide additional interesting information on decorative, precious and semi-precious stones, as well as on the subject of gemology.
